Pickleball Tournament to Benefit Parkinson's Disease

Photo and Video Gallery

The first-ever Pickled for Parkinson’s™ tournament was held November 2, 2024 in Tarpon Springs, FL. This inaugural event drew nearly 90 passionate players from across the United States, many bringing family and friends to witness the competition for the coveted gold and silver medals.

Hosting a major charity event is always an ambitious undertaking—but doing so while facing the wake of two devastating hurricanes and a contentious presidential election made the event even more remarkable. Against the odds, our community came together, and the tournament was a resounding success.

Beyond raising funds for the local Parkinson's community, this event was about raising awareness and honoring those affected by Parkinson’s disease. As we recruited sponsors, players, and volunteers, we were deeply moved by the countless personal stories shared. Many players brought photos of loved ones they were playing for, turning the tournament into a powerful tribute.

The response was overwhelming. Participants praised the event as one of the best-run charity tournaments they had ever competed in, a testament to the dedication of our team, sponsors, and volunteers.
